Hi everyone, this is Tara, brining you the details of our third day at the Indiana Comic Con. This was the final day of the event, and it was still busy. Not quite as busy as Saturday, but still crowded enough that you couldn’t get through most isles quickly.
The crowds were great for us! Nic met several fans that dropped by, and recruited some new subscribers that were initially just interested in our booth, merchandise, and YouTube in general.

We were at the Tetra Ninja booth from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM today, so that we could have some time to enjoy the other exhibits. Since we wanted more time in the morning to look around, we grabbed a quick Starbucks to-go breakfast.
We picked up some great things for ourselves, and for gifts. I’ve included what we purchased, and the artist’s information.
We did notice that a lot of the more popular artwork and clothing was sold out by Sunday afternoon. So if you see something that you like at a busy booth- make sure to get it by Saturday evening/Sunday morning if you can!
We saw some great cosplay today, and will include all of them in a separate post within the next day or two. For now, I will include one of our favourites of the day:
The convention hall closed at 5:00 PM. We were able to get all pictures and and purchases done by that time. Afterwards we headed back to our hotel, made a quick change and went out for dinner at Iozzo’s Garden of Italy, basing our choice by Yelp reviews as per usual.
Despite the reviews, we can really only give this restaurant an “average” rating. The service was really lacking (never refilled our wine or water, server spilt wine on table when pouring and never cleaned it, food took a very long time despite few people in restaurant), and the food was only okay. While Nic says his oysters and pasta were good, my pasta was only okay, and we are fairly certain the chicken in both of our pasta dishes was either frozen cutlets, or pre-cooked chicken.
After dinner we visited the Convention Center plaza and the outside of the Indiana State House (capital building), just down the road from our hotel, to get some nice daylight shots. See day zero for some great nighttime shots.
I feel like our pictures really did not capture the grandiose nature of this building, so I want to add a professional picture for our readers.
We then headed back to our hotel to pack and relax a bit. Our flight is tomorrow at 2:30 PM. We plan on sleeping in, getting breakfast, then heading right to the airport. Overall, we really enjoyed Indianapolis. As our first trip to the city, we thought it was clean, the people friendly, the food great, and the weather fabulous. But most importantly, and the reason we were able to be here, the Indiana Comic Con, was a fantastic experience. It was a very smoothly run event, full of sincere fans and impressive cosplayers.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog. Did you attend the event? If so- what was your experience? While this is the end of this blog series, it’s not the end of the coverage of this event. On Tuesday, please tune in to see all of the cosplay outfits we saw at the Indiana Comic Con 2016.
Thanks for reading!

Update: after we published this post, we experienced our first “real” Tornado warning, with sirens and evacuation to an interior room on the main floor. So exciting! I know, you mid-west folks are probably used to this kinda thing. But hey- we are from Canada, we never have real Tornado threats.
After the warning was over, we decided to head to Chapman’s (attached to the hotel) to watch the Raptor’s game at the bar (they won 89-84 against Indiana!). Nic ordered some dessert.
Now we will pack things up and get ready for our flight tomorrow.
