9. Prey Gets a New Lease on Life
Prey was originally released in 2006 having been developed by Human Head Studios and published by 2K Games and shortly after its release it was announced that Prey 2 was in the works. In 2009. Bethesda acquired the rights to the franchise and in 2014 Prey 2 was cancelled.
Do not fret though, Prey lives again; not as a sequel, not as a remake, but as a re-imagined IP.
In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted.
